The IEC/UL 60950-1 PAG is a subscription-based Internet service which provides a source of reference for understanding and applying the requirements of the Standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment, IEC/UL 60950-1, First Edition. These guidelines are not intended to take the place of the requirements in IEC/UL 60950-1, First Edition, nor to establish additional requirements.

These requirements are developed by and are the opinion of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. Underwriters Laboratories will use these applications during the examination of products to IEC/UL 60950-1. Other organizations may not use those interpretations.
